Uses of bursting discs
Bursting discs are devices for pressure release which have great advantages: low space requirement, short response times, complete release of the opening section, maximum attainable sealing and resistance to corrosion and temperature.
Before using bursting discs it is necessary to be clear about the opening and the operating pressure, the stresses from corrosion and temperature, the size and blow-off characteristics, and the type of installation required. All of these factors determine which bursting disc is appropriate for your specific application. We will be happy to advise you in the selection.
